Re: Huge performance problem on Exchange 2003

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

What are the machine H/W specs?

If both systems run similar software and both development and production
systems are generally error free (assumes you have reviewed OS and Exchange
logs); them it is reasonable to suspect your "performance" issues may be a
result of Hardware being inadequate for the level of service.

Running SSL, HTTPS introduces additional CPU intensive computational stress
on the system. You didn't detail just how you configured your FE/BE setup,
the number of concurrent users or other activity indicators. So, on
speculation, in absence of other indicators...look at configuration (where
is SSL/HTTPS computation taking place, FE(?)) and how much horsepower do
your servers have.
