Personally I would not migrate this way, I would use Exchange System Manager
or the Exchange Migration Wizard to migrate mailboxes & Public folders to
another server, if the new server needed the same name as the orriginal this
server would be an intermeditary server, you would then migrate to your new
hardware with the orriginal server name . This would minimize downtime (If
users are using Outlook with Exchange Connection method). When a users
mailbox is being moved it would be inaccessable during the time this mailbox
was being moved.
