Hi Chaz,

If you do a search using the filter rule, the objects it lists will have the
recipient policy applied to them, after the policy is ran. You cannot
highlight a subset of these object, that the policy will apply to all.

If you want the policy to only apply to a subset of users, I recomend that
you create a new recipient policy and modify the filter, using the filter
Modify button, remember any filter conditions you specify in the Advanced
tab of the Find Exchange Recipient window, act as an AND query.

If you need a filter rule using OR NOT, you will need to write your own LDAP
query and Modify the proportedSearch value for this policy using the
ADSIEdit tool.
