Event 9646 on object session

We've been getting this message on Exchange 2003 SP1:
Mapi session "00300040-0003-36ec-0b00-22820b00fa81" exceeded the maximum of
32 objects of type "session".
The GUID (correct term ? for numbers) of the session changes each time. How
do we find out what/who is causing these errrors? (How do we id who the
session belongs to) The KBs on this error do not mention an object "session",
and while Google search turns up newsgroup posts elsewhere, their errors
included a specific user name, not numbers.
>From what I've read, I gather that "session" refers to a client session
(i.e. Outlook). I tried matching the times of the errors to Exchange Server's
Security Log Logon/Logoff but no one user matches all times, and multiple
users match to particular times (that is, more than one user logged on or off
at a particular time the error occurred.)
Thanks for any help.
