I have a user (X) who needs to send email from 2 different addresses. I've created an AD account for the second address(Y) and given user X 'Send As'
privilege in the Security tab of the properties for Y.
This generates an NDR (You do not have permission to send to this recipient)
when X sends a mail with Y in the From field in Outlook. I've also tried
adding 'Full mailbox rights' for X in Y's account but stll get the NDRs.
The relay restrictions allow only our internal network or authenticated
users to relay.
