What's left on the 5.5 server? If there are no priblic folder replicas
(don't forget the site folders!) then you can remove the public folder
store from the 5.5 server.
What's replicating is the public folder hierarcy if there aren't any
replicas on the 5.5 server.
Why does the replication traffic for the public folder stuff bother
you? Is it just curiosity or is there some sort of problem?
