Re: open relay

Hi AdboS,

You need to disable relaying, for any connections accept authenticated
connections.

To do this open Exchange System Manager, go to

Servers

ServerName

Protocols

SMTP

Right click Default SMTP Virtual Server then Click Properties.

Click the Access tab Click the relay button, In the Relay Restrictions
dialog box click "Only the list below" if you have any servers or
applications which need to relay with out authentication just add their
addresses in the list.

Also ensure that "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to
relay regardless of the list above box" is checked

Now all you need to do is ensure all of your IMAP clients are set to
authenticate their SMTP connection to your server.
