Hi Jim,
Yep that's the option "Enumerate messages from the queue node" there should
be an option to enumerate 100 messages (i.e. display details of 100 messages
in the queue). Once the messages are displayed you can look at the details
on each of the messages, to ensure the senders are users of your server.
How many queues with companyname.com(Remote Delivery) are listed, and what
is the state of the queues? If there where many Remote Delivery domains
listed with a status of Retry, and Host Unreachable, that might indicate a
problem on your end, either DNS or network connectivity. If there are just a
few and your server sends out lots of email then the problem is most likely
on the other end or there was a typo when one of your users typed in the
domain part of the email address.
Yes you can Delete the queue, freeze it, or force connection. Unless I know
there are problems I normally leave the queue, over time it will try to
resend the message then eventually give up, if it cannot resolve the domain
or connect to a server. But if the server was offline or experiencing
problems, the messages would be delivered when the retry happens.
Regards
