Hi Rhidian,

How are we creating these new users? Are we copying an existing user
account possibly? If we are doing so and the template account has it set to
Hide from Address Book, this may explain why they are not showing up in the
GAL.

LDAP queries are not case sensitive so this shouldn't be an issue.

If we're not stamping new mail-enabled objects with email attributes, we'll
need to troubleshoot the RUS. Here are a couple articles to follow that
will be helpful for you:
