OWA & IIS Cert Question

Hello,
I'm planning to put up a Front-End Exchange 2003 server to compliment my
existing E2k3 server. We currently do not have a cert on our existing server.
I will be purchasing a cert from Verisign. I plan to call the site
owa.companyname.com.
My front end server's IIS shows Default Web Site, then below it: Exadmin,
Exchange, ExchWeb, etc.
Question 1: Where do I create the owa.companyname.com site - under Default
Web Site or at the same level as Default Web Site?
Question 2: How do I 'bind' (for lack of a better term) this owa site to
OWA? What's going to make it work?
I assume the Default Web Site \ ExchWeb site is my default OWA but when I go
to the directory security tab, Server Certificate is grayed out and the only
option I have for Secure Communications is Edit. This is why I'm assuming I
have to create a owa.companyname.com site. If I am off-base on this please
let me know.
This is probably ez and obvious but I've been staring at it and I am not
getting it.
Thanks!
.
