Hi Lee,
Thanks you so much for the very informative post. I appreciate it.
Just to recap, I was attempting to force my Exchange server- only Exchange
server - to route all mail for specific customer - i.e. @customer.com - to a
specific non-Exchange mail server which was not the preferred MX mail
servers for this customer.
Pers Susans instructions, I created an additional SMTP Connector defining
the address space for customer.com and the non preferred mail server as the
smart host. This seems to have done the trick! Mail for customer.com uses
that specific smarthost and all other mail is delivered directly based on
the existing SMTP Connector.
