thanks everyone, I appreciate your feedback. Bottom line is that I'm going
to set my mailbox limits as low as I can get away with. And over time I'm
going to force the users with the biggest stores to reduce. I'm going to
shoot for a maximum mailbox size of 1 GB and enforce that.
With the autoarchive features in outlook 2003 I don't see any reason that
mailboxes have to be any larger. The problem comes in putting a process in
place to back up the archives. I may run a script for the 10 or so VIP's
that will copy archive pst files to a network drive.
