If you want an e-mail address to be distributed to 5 people, then you will
want to use a Distribution Group. You assign the e-mail address to the
group, then add those users to the group.

For your second scenario, it is also possible. In order to do this, I use
the following steps.

1. Create (or assign) e-mail address of contact@company.com to a
mailbox-enabled user. (note: you *may* be able to create a contact to do
this with, but I can't verify that it works).
2. Create a new contact in Active directory that has the external e-mail
address assigned to it (me@hotmail.com)
3. In the properties of the user, under the Exchange General Tab, go to
Delivery Options, then check the button to "Forward To" - browse and select
the Contact from your Global Address List. (after this is done, you can hide
the contact or user if desired).
4. Optionally, define the setting to deliver a copy to both the forwarding
address and the mailbox. Done.
