Internally posted items should already show up as IPM.Note. It is only
messages that originate from the Internet that appear as IPM.Post.

As far as the issue with not being able to change to your custom forms, I
don't know. It could be that those forms are not compatible with Exchange
2003. Have you tried re-creating the form using Outlook 2003?
