This may be a shot in the dark, but have you recently changed passwords
on your service account or the domain admin account? I haven't worked
with 5.5 for awhile, but I recall having a similar problem once after
changing passwords. I finally found a location buried deep in the 5.5
config where the password was hard coded. As soon as I set it to the
new password everything came up and started working correctly. Good
