Hi,
We host multiple virtual domains on a single Exchange 2000 Server. I created
separate GAL lists and filtered the view with LDAP query.
Now, we are in plans to host individual mailboxes to end users on exchange
mail server. Users will access mail through Outlook – IMAP connecting through
a Citrix web session [a server is configured with Citrix for remote access].
I will create a new virtual domain (xyz.com) with separate storage group. I
don’t want any GAL for this domain.
Is it possible to create a virtual domain xyz.com without any GAL? Users
accessing their mailbox do not require any GAL; they will use only their
personal contacts – ‘Contacts’. [Like yahoo or hotmail mail]
Can I configure the mailbox in outlook without a GAL?
Thank you,
