    Hello,

    Here is the situation. Our legal department is asking us to find any
    messages from 4-5 years ago with specific words in them. I managed to
    find the Tapes (saved by Backup Exec) from that era, but I am perplexed
    as to how best to go about getting the information.

    The tapes were backups from an NT4-Exc5.5 installation that is
    currently in mid migration. In other words, we now have exc 2003 with
    99% of the users moved to the new servers. The old NT4-Exc5.5 server is
    still connected to the site and also hosts the public folders.

    I would very much like to restore this data to an isolated server, but
    have yet to figure out how. Is there any other way to do this? The
    backups contain IS and mailbox backups. Oh and the only tape drive is
    on that NT4 box.
