Outlook may, or may not, need anything. If you have VoIP you'd
probably want to be able to have the act of opening the voice-mail
dial the IP phone and listen to the message there. Or you can just
have the WAV file (or whatevery you use) played right at the PC.
However, since Asteriskdoes use SIP, it may be possible that you could
use Live Communications Server and the Windows Messenger to place and
answer calls from the PC. If you're not interested in a "universal
inbox" it might not make any difference where the message is stored as
long as the recipient can access the message.
