HELO command

I recently implemented Exchange 2003 in our organization. We have been
receiving some undeliverable messages and after researching I discovered that
the HELO command is not configured correctly. I cannot find where to change
that record, even after searching the knowledge base. Can someone provide me
with some direction? Thank you.
