Morning all,
First off, apologies if this is one of those "newbie" questions. We're
configuring our first Exchange server, and despite all the documentation
we've read, we're still befuddled.
Situation: We need to integrate our new Exchange environment (2003 servers,
not configured as Native mode) with our current Groupwise 6 environment.
We're using Novell's connector to do so. However, as part of this, we're
required to set up the Active Directory Connector. Exchange apparently uses
port 389 for its LDAP, which is locked by the AD Services. We'd like to
reconfigure Exchange's LDAP to use a different port (390, 379, whatever).
Issue: Under the Exchange System Manager for 2003, we can't see the LDAP
protocol listed under the Protocols section. We've found documentation for
Exchange 5.5, but what we've found doesn't match what we're seeing, and we
don't know where to configure the LDAP protocol properties.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can lend!
Thanks,
Matt Nowell
