You're kidding, right? :) On my server (not so many users at all) I have
normally 800-1000 log files (even though I have daily backups scheduled),
but I have seen things like ~50,000 log files as well.
Actually, number of logs strongly depends on the following:
- Number of users in mailbox stores of the given storage group
- Users mail activity
- Type of communications
- Backup policy in effect
