Steve,
I ran a reverse DNS test on what I assume is the domain name you are having
the issue with and the results are you do not have a PTR record. You may
want to check into this and if you just added the record you might have to
wait up to 72 hours for full replication. Below are my results from
www.dnsstuff.com
DNS Lookup: rapidld.com PTR record
Generated by www.DNSstuff.com
How I am searching:
Searching for rapidld.com PTR record at g.root-servers.net [192.112.36.4]:
Got referral to C.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [took 295 ms]
Searching for rapidld.com PTR record at C.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [192.26.92.30]:
Got referral to slim.rapidld.com. [took 50 ms]
Searching for rapidld.com PTR record at slim.rapidld.com. [69.15.36.132]:
Reports that no PTR records exist. [took 101 ms]
Answer:
No PTR records exist for rapidld.com. [Neg TTL=3600 seconds]
Details:
slim.rapidld.com. (an authoritative nameserver for rapidld.com.) says that
there are no PTR records for rapidld.com.
The E-mail address in charge of the rapidld.com. zone is:
hostmaster@rapidld.com.
To see the DNS traversal, to make sure that all DNS servers are reporting
the correct results, you can Click Here.
Note that these results are obtained in real-time, meaning that these are
not cached results.
These results are what DNS resolvers all over the world will see right now
(unless they have cached information).
It looks like you are trying to do a reverse DNS lookup improperly. You may
want to try the Reverse DNS Lookup tool instead.Hope this helps.J"Steve
