I want to understand how the VSS works.
Using Windows 2003, I enabled Shadow Copy on the shared folder where
the priv1.edb is residing. I made a copy and then later tried to roll
back to that version.

It rolled back successfully, but when I tried to mount the mailbox
database in the Exchange administrator, it said that it can't do it,
because the database file is in an inconsistant mode.

What did I do wrong rolling back to that file using Shado Copy?

Thanks
