For some reason when I now create a new user in active
directory users and computers, the mailbox is no longer
being created properly.
The account appears to create correctly however the
mailbox is not placed into the exchange server. Closer
inspection shows that the SMTP field is also not correctly
updated. An attempt to manuallz update this field also
has little beneficial effect.
A week ago there was a power cut that lasted for over an
hour in our area. This caused the server to shut down as
it was very early in the morning this meant that no one
was around to make sure it was done properly. When the
server restarted it kept blue screening upon startup.
Eventally we were able to boot the machine the event logs
pointed to what microsoft expected was a corrupt table. I
applied the hotfix that was meant to overcome this problem
which it did. But this is the first time I have tried to
create an account. Is there any way to overcome this
problem?
