Exchange 2003 & Veritas 9.0 ( oh yes,that again...)

Hi Ya

We use exchange brick levels at about 25 sites using
Vertias and I would advise against it as often they fail
your entire backup because 1 email can't be backed up.

But enough about that.

1. Can you log onto a mailbox with that account? That
is if you setup a profile under outlook can you logon to
any mailbox using the account you have created.
2. The account can not be hidden it needs to be
visible in the GAL. And once it has connected don't hide
it again or the brick level will fail.
3. There are some really good articles on the Vertias
website which explain why they fail.
