I know I've set this up before without Forms Based Auth. Have you turned it
off? If it still fails continue on reading :-)
We have setup several boxes with HTTPS and service OWA (F/E usually) and RPC
over HTTPS from the same website.
Something on your website is causing the RPC folder to fall back to
Exchange. Did you set the website to auto redirect to /exchange? I'd
either think that was setup incorrectly or the RPC folder itself doesn't
have the proper path.
Either way you can setup another website - only problem is it will likely
need a different URL to work. So I'd try the above first.
