I have exactly the same problem after in place upgrade of
Windows 2003. As Microsoft recommended I have upgraded
Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003, everything was working
fine. After upgrade Windows 2000 to Win 2003 I'm
getting "HTTP:1.1 503 Service Unavailable " error when
I'm trying to access mailboxes via OWA. Also when I'm
trying to access properties of Public forders in Fublic
Folders store on the server via ESM I get error "HTTP
services used by Public folders is not available,
possible causes are that Public stores are not mounted
and the Information Store service is not running.
ID no:c1030af3
Exchange System Manager"

I have checked Application pools and they are running
under correct Identity:
DefaultAppPool: Network Service
ExchangeApplicationPool: Local System
ExchangeMobilBrowseApplicationPool: Network Service

I have also tried to add "Integrated Windows
Authentication" besides "Basic Authentication" as some
people has suggested in newsgroups
and nothing has changed, i'm still getting the error. I'm
running OWA over SSL.

Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
Any help really appreciated.

Yuriy
