Use my response as a "last option."
If you're ultimately unsuccessfult mounting this store and getting actual
data out of it, I've used ExchangeServer Recovery before to successfully
extract data out of an edb and create a pst. I don't remember exactly why
exmerge wasn't used, but there was some reason. I recall when we did this
it was our only option and all things considered, $800 wasn't very bad at
