Well it seems to me to be unlikely a well-respect web hosting provider such
as Maximum ASP would have a misconfiguration of something as simple as
IMail.
Basically it boils down to having 2 Mail servers for the same domain.
mail.domain.com - exchange server in-house MX record set to have first
priority
mail2.domain.com - IMail server at web host MX record set to second priority
If I send a mail from with one of my ASP webpages it gets sent from
someaccount@domain.com through mail.domain.com to the recipient. If that
recipient's email is something other than domain.com then all is well in the
world... but some of the actions require an email to be sent to the
recipeint who filled out the form or whatever and also a notification to a
company contact... so then IMail is sending a mail to
someone@someotherdomain.com and another to someone@domain.com and IMail is
only checking itself for the someone@domain.com user when in actuality that
user/mailbox resides on the Exchange server...
I know this seems like a goofy setup... as it is seeming that way more and
more to me.. But its also a matter of not wanting to configure these account
for the website on the Exchange server and not to open up any relaying on
Exhcange as well...
So what would my alternatives be...
