OK, so why not use Outlook? Are you crazy enough to believe Access
makes a better e-mail client than Outlook? Actually, you probably are.
and btw, i just bought a new laptop; ran Windows Update; installed....
nothing else-- but Acrobat was all fucked up- right out of the box. So
i uninstalled and re-installed
and guess what I have now?
brand new box; simple re-installation and AcroRd32.exe is a goddamn
TSR!!!
So AcroRd32.exe still appears in the Process list even when Acrobat
Reader doesn't appear in the Application list in Task Manager? If so,
maybe the Adobe programmers are so clever that they check the current
account's user name, and if it matches your name the configuration is
intentionally screwed up.
I've checked various versions of Acrobat Reader and the full program on
8 machines at home and at work, and no version remains in memory on any
of those machines.
So either you're spewing pure BS or the Adobe programmers have it in
for you.
Why should anyone pay attention to your rants about Access vs Excel
when you can't even figure out how to make Acrobat Reader work the way
you want it to?
