Indiewolf-

Go to tools -> Share workbook. There are different settings you can change
to tweak how you would like excel to handle a shared workbook. Check it
out.

i have a excel *** to write some things.10 people have access to it.
now that excel *** is used by 10 people maybe at the same
time/simultaneously.

the problem occurs when somebody enters some data, saves it and closes
it.
the 2nd person also wrote something at that time so whatever the first
person wrote wasnt saved .the order is very important.

hence there is conflict.

what can i do? is writing a macro the only way ? for eg. writing a
macro for saving each written entry as well as updating the *** every
30 seconds .

kindly help.
