Perhaps this is a little biased, but please give our BarCodeWiz Barcode
ActiveX Control a try:

First, Select the EAN 128 Symbology from the properties list.
Next, select a range of cells and click on "Selection To Barcodes" on
the toolbar. You can choose to create barcodes in another column or
row, add top and bottom comments, and change a number of barcode
properties, such as bar height, text fonts, orientation, etc.
