As I uderstood, there is 2 formats, both of fixed length. Then maybe
positions for groups are fixed for group - when yes, then something like:
B1=IF(LEN(A1)=10,LEFT(A1,3),LEFT(A1,4))
C1=IF(LEN(A1)=10,MID(A1,4,4),LEFT(A1,5))
D1=RIGHT(A1,3)
