Dana, just to be clear, do you have a work*** that contains medical supply
data (e.g., description of medical supply, expiration date of supply)? If
so, is this work*** updated (i.e., opened) on a daily basis? The reason I
ask is that there needs to be an event (like opening the work***) to which
we can associate the code that checks the supply expiration dates against the
current date. You could potentially have some code that automatically runs
each time the supplies work*** is opened and provides you with a printable
summary list of all supplies that have expired (i.e., expiration date
precedes current date) or will expire within a short time (you can specify
the interval like 2 days for example).
