Removing the automatic macro for date

Hi, I have tried searching the help and now the web. I'm
a little of a newbie, so I am having trouble. Please
help. I am using the template for invoicing, and one
feature is the automatic date cell. It shows data1, and
it updates the new date every time it is opened. This is
a nightmare for accounting systems. I can't figure out
how to eliminate the function/macro of today's date when
opened. Help.
