Do you really need a .csv file ? Usually you export Access data into
Excel (or import into Excel) direct.
I do this on a daily basis with an automated method that exports fom
Access to an Excel workbook (which is then copied with a new name). The
Excel *** is formatted, and even has a blank row at the top for other
information added by the macro. It retains all the formatting, and the
access data goes into the right place (it sets up a named range). I set
it up originally by exporting from Access and formatting afterwards.
