If the ATP is listed in Tools>Add-ins and you get no error message when you
checkmark it, it is installed.
Perhaps you have Tools>Customize>Options "always show full menus" unchecked?
You could also try re-setting the Work*** Menu Bar.
Tools>Customize>Toolbars>Work*** Menu Bar>Reset.
To answer your question about where is it located..........
The default location on a regular installation is in the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Library\Analysis
There will be 4 files in the Analysis folder.
ANALYS32.XLL
FUNCRES.XLA
ATPVBAEN.XLA
PROCDB.XLA

Hi,
This add in name - Analysis ToolPak - appears when I click
Tools | Add-Ins
Then I tick the box...etc
Also I've browsed/searched for it in "Add-Ins" & some others - ANY OTHER
LOCATIONS I SHOULD TRY?; MAYBE MY OFFICE 2003 CD - HOW WOULD I DO THAT PLEASE?
But in any case I get no "Data Analysis" command on the Tools Menu, as there
should be I believe - IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM THE "DATA" MENU?
So I think its not there, on my computer, and is probably on my Office 2003
CD - OR CAN I DOWNLOAD IT?
3 Questions:
Before I use my Office 2003 CD, where else, what folders on my computer,
should I first look for the Add-In (Analysis ToolPak)?
If necesary, how, what do I do, to get the Add-In (Analysis ToolPak) from my
Office 2003 CD?
Can I download it?
Thanks & best wishes, Peter Dunne.
