Hi Tom, you are right, there is a reference missing in the project. But
for some reason I am unable to delete it because it says that the
ressource is currently in use. What do you mean by resetting the
project? Do you mean start it over again? I tried to copy sheets from
this project to a new one but for some reason it wont let me do it. As
I right click on the folder of the sheet 'sorry i don't know how to say
this in english' the option 'move or copy' is grey and I cannot choose
it.
The whole story is that a guy in my company gave me this excel project
that was already made by him. He ask me to change things in the project
but the project seems to be corrupted already in the references... He
connected this excel file to another file on his computer. What he
would like to do is, no matter where this other file is located, that
the connection still work... Yeah right so im coding some code to find
the file on all available drives on the computer. But it's hard to do
cause I need to use functions such as : mid, left, right etc which I
can't use right now due to references problems.
By the way the missing ressource is:
'Fincalc OLE Custom Control Module'
