UNABLE TO OPEN .CHM HELP FILE

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I am unable to open my help file in Excel. This is a .chm help file that I
built. I have discovered, however, that I can't open any .chm file,
regardless of the source.

I get an error message that says

Failed to Launch mk:@MSITStore:C:\help_file\helpfile.chm

The C:\help_file\helpfile.chm part of the path is correct, but I have no
idea what the front portion of the path name is or where it came from.

I am running Windows XP Pro w/SP3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
