Thank you for your help. The first part of your response (unchecking
the "Ignore Other Applications") fixed it.

I have another issue I have posted before but have not received a response.
It is in regards to MS Outlook 2003 - Printing email:

I want to turn off the print date that appears in the lower left corner of
the page when I print email messages. I went to "Page setup" and blanked out
the "footer" field but the date still prints. I am using the memo style and
the html format email when printing.
Can you help me?

Thank you again

Go into tools=>Options and in the General tab, if "Ignore Other

Applications" is checked, then uncheck it.

If it is not checked or if this doesn't solve the problem, go to the run

command in the Windows Start menu and type in a command like

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.Exe /regserver

This refreshes the registry entries for Excel.

Modify the path to point to the location of the Excel executable file on
your

system.

When I double click on and xls file I get this message:

"Cannot find the file (or one of its components). Make sure the path and
filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."

I do not know how to check if all required libraries are available.

I can open an 'xls' file if I open Excel and go to File then Open and go
to
the location of the file and select it. But, thats the long way.

Will you help me.
