Re: in which folder can you save a .CSV file?

I am totally unfamiliar working with Outlook, actually. If you could help me
out with that I would appreciate it.

There is no "All Files (*.*) " listed under File>Save As>File Type so that is
not strange.

File>Open>Files of Type has the "All Files (*.*) "

To save your email address book as a *.CSV file you must do that though Oulook,
which I assume is your email client.

With Outlook open, File>Import and Export>Export to a File and follow your
nose from there.

If you don't see the CSV extension make sure My Computer>Tools>Folder
Optiuons>View has "show all file extensions" checked.

okay, your'e not going to believe this but, I tried to do as you suggested
and when I tried to select 'all files', there was no 'all files' listed! Is
that strange or what? Any other suggestions?

Hi

Assuming you are doing this from Excel, when you go to the file open
dialog you need to modify the "Files of type" dropdown at the bottom
from "All Microsoft Office Excel Files" to (easiest) "All Files (*.*)"
- this way the csv files will show up listed in the folder.

And yes, you can save csv files to anywhere you can save Excel files.

Hope this helps!
