The only "problem" with Outlook Express is that you can't get notification if
there are changes to a thread. At least I haven't figured it out.

If not, and if using PRE vista
In Outlook Express
tools>accounts>news>add>news>type in msnews.microsoft.com>enter>
then, in newsgroups, search groups for excel and subscribe where desired

I am now using Vista and it's pretty much the same

Hi Don,
Well it looks like others are having this problem also.
One test I have made shows the following:
1. I receive a notification that one of my suggestions or question has a
response. I click that link: "Read and rate the response" it takes me
to
the question and response.
2. I click Reply and write a response.
3. I click Notify me of replies and click Post.
Then I get the screen at the following address:
https://profile.microsoft.com/RegSysProfileCenter/wizard.aspx?wizid=74386565-ca25-47ba-8168-c42975812e84&lcid=1033
I am using SBC Yahoo as my ISP.
Any help would be nice.

Everytime I send a query to the newsgroup I get the follow screen:
"Communities E-Mail Notification
Thank you for taking the time to fill out the following online form. If
you
do not want to submit your information, click Cancel. " ....
And much more! I hit Cancel or Continue, two options that show up and
the
message is gone, but only to reappear with the next message.
Any suggestions?
