Hyperlink from MSProject to Excel?

Is there a way to hyperlink a summary task bar from MS Project to Excel? We
are trying to put together a graphical representation of ongoing construction
projects to include financial information pulled from Excel Spreadsheets and
have a summary of the MS Project schedule appear on the Excel spread***...
any help?
