Ok, I have Win 98, Ofc 2000. My problem is w/Excel. I have a financial
work*** that I want to keep anyone from seeing, much less changing.
I know I've done this before because I have another *** that when I
call it up, I have to enter my password two times to even view it on
the screen. Don't remember how I did it.
My problem is this. When I ask Excel Help, it tells me to go to the
Tools menu, select Options, then the General tab. Im supposed to
furnish it with a password that I want for it to open. The only
problem is that THERE IS NO SUCH ITEM on the General tab, nor on any
of the other tabs. the only other tabs I have are, Transition, Custom
Lists, Chart, Color, View, Calculation, and Edit.
The Tools, Protection doesn't help, as that just protects me from
someone changing content w/o a password.
Help anyone????
