Maybe you could use a different function (multiple times!):

=SUMPRODUCT(--('\\myfolder1\myfolder2\[floyd.xls]SheetName'!C7:L7="Care"))
+sumproduct(--(your next one))
+sumproduct(--(your next one))

(You'll have to fix all the references--I got lazy!)
