Merged Cell Error

Try the same thing to a new blank workbook. If it's the
same result the problem may actually lie with the Access
side. You could then try to copy and paste to a new book a
column at a time to find the troublemaker.
Ok, if it works in a clean blank book, you are back to
selecting the entire area the Access data covers and
checking the Formt->Cells->Alignment has no hint of a
check in the "merge cells" checkbox.
