The file *.xls may have been changed by another user since you last saved it...

I'm having a problem in Excel 2003. After opening a file
off of the network I make a few changes and get the
following error almost every time:

The file 'filename.xls; may have been changed by another
user since you last saved it. In that case, what you want
to do to? <Save a copy> or <Overwrite changes>

I am the only person working on this file, no one else is
editing or even opening the file, but still I this error.
I found references to this same error in Excel 2002, but
none of the fixes work. The file is being saved to a
Windows 2000 server. There are other people here using
the exact same type of machine I am (cloned off of the
same image) and none of them are getting the error... My
version of Office 2003 has all of the latest updates from
Microsoft...

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do get rid of this
message?
