Hello. I was wondering if anyone else is having a similar
problem. The problem is:
I'm on a network (IBM) at work and 3 of us are working on
the same file on a network drive thats been mapped (though
I'm not sure what that means). The problem is
intermittant, but happens quite often. One of us will try
to save the document and then an error comes up saying
that the file could not be found. At this point the only
recourse is to try to save it to the local hardrive and
then try to c/p the info together. Note that the original
file disappears and there is a file with a bunch of
numbers apparently left in it's place. When I try to get
into that file and open it with Excell it says that the
file is read-only or encrypted and it can not open it or
if I try another application like WordPad it will say that
access to that file is denied.
Please, oh please help.
Thank you for your time and attention,
Randy
