i've read some of the msdn articles mentioned in the posts on this list,
including those about
XSDObjectGen and the msdn article "Code Generation in the .NET Framework
Using XML Schema". i'm coming from a java and jaxb background, and am excited
by the opportunity for .net to use it's native xml attribute support to do a
more natural and complete job of supporting xml binding. there are a number
of deficiencies in the current official tools (xsd.exe), and a handful of
attempts at extending these, such as XSDObjectGen. is there an official
discussion on where the .net platform will go with regards to support for
binding/generating schemata to native code? in a related question, are there
any other known concerted efforts to build or collect requirements for
improvements to the schema binding framework?
