The company we are doing all this work for wants us to target only
Windows 2000, XP and whatever newest MS operating system (Longhorn).

This is something I have considered. Dropping the MS tools and going with
Sun tools. Already I have to convince XP users to install the msjavx86.exe
file in order to run the current applets. Having them to install the Java
plugin probably would be that difficult.

As for allowing the applets/programs to run from the web, the company I work
and the company I am writing the applets for are not ready to deploy that
yet. They very much want the product to run from a cd and only a cd.

Good luck with painting the cabin!
